John J Carr

Financial Representative

A graduate of Pennsylvania State University in 1985, with a B.S. in Health Planning & Administration, Jack earned the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) professional designation from The American College in 2000.

Jack is a multiple-time qualifying member of the industry's prestigious Million Dollar Roundtable, and has earned recognition for numerous Company awards and honors since becoming associated with Northwestern Mutual in 1985.

Jack is active in many industry and community organizations including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, Board Member and volunteer of Junior Achievement of Northwestern Pennsylvania, former Cub Master of Cub Scout Pack 123 in Forty Fort, active member and former President of the Forty Fort Lions Club, Member of The Fox Hill Country Club, and his church Holy Name/St. Mary's Parish in Swoyersville.

Jack is married to Susan and they have four children; Danielle, Ryan, Natalie, and Kyle.

Derek Desanto

Financial Representative

Derek joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 2010 and works with individuals, families and businesses. He assists his clients by providing financial security that is unique to their situation in life.  Derek specializes in developing risk management and wealth accumulation strategies that are designed to achieve goals, over a period of time, that are most important to them. These goals are uncovered through a thorough personal conversations. Long term relationships ensure that as situations transform your plan will perform as desired.

Derek is a 2008 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, Smeal College of Business, and holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management.

Heidi Matthews

Financial Representative

Heidi Matthews of the Palmiter Financial Group has been a Financial Representative since 1993. She is located in our Clarks Summit office. The primary goal of Heidi's practice is to work with positive people who welcome the opportunity and responsibility associated with sound financial analysis.
Heidi enjoys working particularly with professionals, business owners and people in the medical profession, such as physicians and dentists.
Heidi is a member and past president of the local chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
 

David P Oswell

Financial Representative

Dave joined the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in 2003 and works with both individuals and businesses. He assists his clients in developing risk management and wealth accumulation strategies designed to help his clients achieve the goals that are most important with them.

Dave is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the Estate Planning Council of Northeastern Pennsylvania. He is also the recipient of the National Sales Achievement Award (2005), and numerous company awards.
